TEAM #1: Youth Collaboration for Health Resource Sharing

To provide mental health support for youth & teens, supported by the Black Mental Health Coalition

TEAM #2: #BFF Breastfeeding

Goal: To raise awareness, promote and support breastfeeding in our local community. This extends to bringing Breastfeeding Education to the classroom of local schools.

TEAM #3: Help Urban and Out-county Seniors Access Outdoor Places

Goal: To use a survey to contact seniors in urban and out county areas to find gaps in services offered by local agencies that connect seniors with healthy outdoor places (HOP) and activities

TEAM #4: Build a Muskegon Housing HUB App

Goal: To create a comprehensive how-to informational platform regarding housing how-to's (for example, renting)

TEAM #5: Strengthening Volunteerism in Muskegon County

Goal: To build a network of volunteer coordinators and managers dedicated to sharing best practices, sourcing volunteers, and fostering connections through regular meetings and social events.

TEAM #6: Violence Prevention & Awareness Fair / Event

Goal: in development

TEAM #7: Brain Health Neuroscience Awarenessᅠ

Goal: To bring awareness in marginalized communities and shift the mindset with brain health. Provide guidance to elevate youth, helping them navigate a Buddy System and create a Voice Up group to foster diversity and build unity in the community.

TEAM #8: People's Day

Goal: To have a community event to bridge the gap between people and the services that are available in Muskegon County.

TEAM #9: Survey and Train Organizations on Expansion and Infrastructure

Goal: To survey capacity and need of CBOs in Muskegon County serving unhoused families

TEAM #10: Muskegon Heights Support

Bring awareness to the community by highlighting the positive things that are taking place within Muskegon Heights. This will build a stronger community, positive look for the city and make the residents of Muskegon Heights have a sense of pride for their community.

TEAM #11: Financial Literacy for Young Adults

Goal: To empower young adults (16-25) with financial literacy, career development, and real-world financial resources through sustainable partnerships and community programs

TEAM #12: Muskegon Rideshare & Transportation

Goal: To engage Muskegon-area employers to support pre-tax employee transportation options that will assist low-wage workers maintain stable employment. Build upon this foundation to set the stage for further transportation support in the future

TEAM #14: Coalition for Parent Support and Education

Goal: To expand parent groups in order to provide education and training to reach new audiences/parents.

TEAM #15: Promoting Health Education for youth

Goal: To promote health education for youth, for example: water safety, life skills by hosting a series featuring water safety, finances, home economics, etc.

TEAM #16: Develop a Substitute Pool for Childcare Services

Establish a pool of licensed child care workers who can substitute in child care facilities when employed staff go on vacation or are otherwise unavailable to work.

TEAM #17: Urban Farming & Gardening Curriculum

Goal: To have a completed curriculum and conduct at least 1 class available to the public.

TEAM #18: Career Guide

Goal: To have a Career Quest for Employers and HS Students to decrease high school drop-out rate
